Fighting Evil? "A dirty job, but we must try. Otherwise civilization drowns in muck.” So says Hugh Ward, who has friends  among the Gray Monks and in a distant galaxy. Human weakness is all around, but Evil is deliberate malice. Hugh and friends fight evil in different ways. Slaughter in a jungle slave camp! Gun fight in an African desert! Rough justice in a Mersey-side anchorage! Evil fights back, the friends take cover, but they never lose hope.
